Northern Marine Manning Services delivered a key note address at a premier European Offshore Conference in Norway recently.
Offshore Vessel Connect 2016, held in Oslo between the 2nd and 3rd of November, invited prominent delegates from the Offshore industry to discuss and share views on pertinent industry topics.
Dhan Swadi, NMMS Personnel Director and Tony Littler, NMMS Global Head of Training attended the 2-day event.
Dhan delivered a keynote address on the topic: ‘Ensuring the next generation is equipped with job and life skills for the offshore industry’.
His address covered topics on how the offshore industry can attract the younger generation while going through tough times and can the offshore industry afford the cost of not training for the future.
Tony Littler also presented an overview of Offshore training, explaining the challenges in meeting local training and complex regulatory requirements.
Dhan said: “The event was a great success and very worthwhile.
“Having the opportunity to address our industry peers is an honour and is of great benefit in further promoting Northern Marine Manning Services.”
